Defense against a knife stab to your abdomen
- 7-3 inside with an outside shutō block to the base of the thumb joint.
- Even if the opponent retains the weapon with just their fingers, the grip on the weapon will be so weak that it cannot do any damage.
- If opponent still has the knife, grab their wrist.
- Finish the opponent with one of the following:
- Uraken uchi to their face.
- Makkikomi-shutō to their throat.
- Front kick to their groin.
