Defense against an opponent who tries to draw a weapon
- Rush in and trap the opponent’s hand.
- Spearhand strike to the opponent’s eyes, or a backfist strike to their philtrum with your free hand, as an atemi.
- Knee kick to their groin.
- Inside elbow strike to their temple.
