Defense against a side headlock

  • Break the opponent’s balance and concentration with a tate-shutō to the opponent’s inner thigh.
  • Gyaku-sukuite.
  • Grab the opponent’s closest shoulder and hook their closest leg; lift and dump the opponent.
  • Punch to ribs or other finishing move.
