Defense against a one-hand lapel grab
- 7-3 outside with a downward elbow strike to the opponent’s elbow, off-balancing them.
- Lapel grabs are typically followed by a reverse punch, like in ice hockey fights. Your elbow strike will cover and wedge your head, filling the role of a cross-body block.
- Knee kick to the opponent’s groin.
- Step in, entering a horse stance with a downward elbow strike to the opponent’s spine.
