Defense against a pursuit punch or haymaker
- 7-3 inside, with a simultaneous (Kūsankū) outside shutō block and a tate-shutō to the side of their neck.
Notes
This can also be used as a defense against a knife slash or club swing, but it is imperative that you grab and control the hand holding the weapon.
