Defense against a one-hand lapel grab
- Front kick to the opponent's groin, as an atemi.
- Upon returning to crane stance, immediately step the kicking foot behind you, entering a back stance with a same-side rising block to break the opponent’s hold.
- Shift forward into a front stance, with a reverse punch to the chin.
