Defense against an opponent intimidating you with a knife or gun pressed to side of your abdomen

  • Take a small step forward, with a scooping block to push the knife backwards.
    • Taking the small step forward will compel the attacker to push forward, off-balancing themselves.
  • Twist inside with a rising palmheel strike to the opponent’s chin, philtrum, or temple.
  • Immobilize knife and the opponent with an irimi pin.
