Defense against a rear mug

  • Drop into a horse stance and raise your elbows horizontally at your sides before the attacker can secure their grip.
  • Twist towards the hand, and away from their elbow, of the opponent’s choking arm.
    • If possible, strike the opponent’s floating ribs in the process.
