Defense against a front choke
- Simultaneously throw downward shutō strikes into the crook of the opponent’s elbows (to break their grip) and knee kick their groin (to break their concentration and balance).
- Break the opponent’s neck with either a downward or inside elbow strike.
- The choice of which elbow strike to use depends on how far the opponent bends over.
