Defense against a pursuit punch
- 7-3 inside, with a cross-body block.
- Side breakfall.
- Spin on your side, hooking the back of the opponent’s lead leg for a variation on the reap.
Notes
This waza is admittedly, more of a parlor trick than a self-defense technique, but becoming capable of awesome action movie fodder will greatly boost your self-confidence, and that in turn, will augment your other techniques.
