Defense against an over-arm bear hug

  • Push on the inside of the opponent’s knees to spread the opponent’s legs apart, as to off-balance them.
  • Grab the opponent’s inseams for a Mittsu-Mae takedown.
  • Incapacitate the opponent with a stomp kick to their groin.
