Defense against a pursuit punch
- Twist outside, with an outside elbow break.
- Shift into a front stance with a tate-shutō to the opponent’s throat.
- Simultaneously palmheel strike their opposite-side collarbone and reap.
- Retain control of the opponent’s arm as they fall. Kneel with a reverse punch to the floating ribs.
