Defense against a club strike to the head
- 7-3 inside with rising block to the opponent’s wrist or elbow.
- Do not block the club itself; you will injure your arm.
- Follow-up with one of the following:
- Front kick to their groin.
- Grab the opponent’s wrist, step back, and turn to set up a wristlock or shihō-nage.
